— A possible intoxicated driver was reported at 1:52 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of West State. He was not intoxicated; however, he was warned for a traffic infraction.
— Allen S. Vancooney, of Union Avenue in Salem, was served with a failure to appear warrant at 1:49 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North Broadway.
— Found property was turned into the police department: Keys at 11:45 p.m. Friday near Howard and Wilson as well as a Key Bank ATM card at 12:04 p.m. Saturday.
— Steven C. Stokes, of Columbia Street in Salem, was served at 10:54 p.m. Friday with a warrant for aggravated trafficking in drugs out of Portage County.
— K9 Argo alerted on a vehicle stopped for a moving violation at 7:26 p.m. Friday in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Aetna Street. Recovered suspected drugs and paraphernalia will be turned over for testing by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the driver was warned for the moving violation.
— An unidentified woman has a warrant pending after an incident at 6:09 p.m. Friday in the Walmart, where she took a tag from a less expensive item than the item she placed in the cart. She was not arrested at the scene, as she had an infant with her.
— A female caller contacted police to report that her male neighbor in the 1700 block of Southeast Boulevard was bothering her and she wanted it to stop. Officers made contact after 2:30 p.m. Friday and informed him that if he continues that he will be charged with criminal trespassing.
— Alleged harassment was reported at 11:28 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of West Pershing where a subject said someone was hacking her phone.
— A private property hit-skip crash was reported at 9:03 a.m. Friday in the parking lot of Dollar Tree, 2500 block of East State Street.
— A man alleged that he was walking his dog shortly before 7:45 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of Granite Avenue, when a white bulldog approached and tried to fight with his leashed dog.
— William Poling, of Georgetown Road was cited at 7:37 p.m. Saturday on West Pershing Street for operating a motorcycle without a license.
— No contact was made with a reckless driver at 8:15 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Cedar Street.
— Juveniles were reported at 8:16 a.m. throwing rocks at passing cars in the 1200 block of Mount Street.
— Officers were unable to make contact with a subject shortly after 10:49 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of East Third.
— Calista Bias, 17, of Beloit was cited at 9:25 p.m. Saturday in the area of Second Street and Ellsworth with a red light violation, afte allegedly failing to stop at the traffic device and getting struck of Donald A. Beauvais, of Pine Lake Road.
— Police investigated a neighbor dispute over a shed at 2:59 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of South Union, where one individual allegedly tossed a bottle of urine over a fence into his neighbor’s property.
— A woman reported a two-year-old sexual offense at 9:41 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Broadway.
— David Reeger, no address listed, was cited at 11:19 a.m. Sept. 14 for driving under suspension.
— Officers were dispatched at 9:37 p.m. Friday to the Dollar General for a welfare check.
— Suspicious activity was reported at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday in the first block of East Lincoln Street.
— A neighbor dispute was reported at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the first block of Maple Hill Road.
— Police responded to unruly juveniles Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Main Street and at 9:16 p.m. in the first block of St. John Street.
–A Riverview Street woman reported at 4:28 p.m. Thursday that her son had attempted to purchase a motorized bicycle online with her debit card and never received the item.
–Westgate Middle School personnel had a disabled vehicle towed from its parking lot around 7:24 a.m. Tuesday.
–A confused male was transported to St. George Street, after an officer discovered the man at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of McKinnon.
–An Ohio Avenue woman reported a theft of a dirt bike from her property sometime before 1:36 p.m. Tuesday.
–A city woman reported at 11:54 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of West 6th Street that a city man had allegedly made threats against her son, whom the man believes provided the drugs that his son recently overdosed on.
–A West Township man reported at noon Friday in the 10000 block of Rochester Road that an identified woman took his debit card without permission. After the woman returned it, he decided he no longer wanted to pursue charges. Two days later shortly after midnight Sunday, deputies responded again to the same address where a male subject alleged that someone possibly hacked his phone.
–A loud music complaint was reported at 2:36 a.m. Saturday from the Frola Motel. The subject said he will turn it off for the night.
–The Stark County sheriff’s office requested a welfare check at 11:23 p.m. Saturday on a West Township juvenile. All was fine.
