THE RFL have granted a 12-month Testimonial to Warrington Wolves co-captain Chris Hill.
The Wire’s England international prop has been recognised for his long service to the game, good character and service to the community.
Hill joined The Wire in 2011 from Leigh Centurions and has gone on to make 273 appearances for the club, scoring 33 tries and helping the club to two Challenge Cup Final wins in 2012 and 2019.
A Testimonial match is set to be held in his honour prior to the 2021 season with several other events already planned, such as a gala dinner and a ladies night.
Hill has chosen the Derian House children’s hospice in Leigh as his nominated charity to benefit from his Testimonial year.
