Cirencester at Christmas.
I felt I must write to congratulate once again Cirencester Town Council, the businesses in the town and the market stall holders for helping to create such a wonderful atmosphere in the town centre.
The Christmas lights are fabulous, the tree adorning the market place super, and the lights and displays in the windows of the premises throughout the town are fabulous.
Despite all the odds stacked against our traders this year, many of Cirencester’s small businesses have really tried to brighten up this glorious town, and they have succeeded.
As I walk home each evening from the parish church I feel so uplifted and smile both inwardly and outwardly.
The camaraderie on the market these last few weeks has been incredible.
Thank you to those who organise the community events, thank you to those who arrange the markets and thank you to our shopkeepers and businesses who make this town centre so special.
Also a big thank you to the town council for the Christmas lights which once again are brilliant.
A lot of hard work and effort goes into making all of this happen, and it is really appreciated by so many of us.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to bringing something of the spirit of Christmas to our town centre.
From those of us working in the parish church, and on behalf of the members of our parish, we wish you a very Happy Christmas and a hopeful New Year.
Stay Safe. May God’s Blessing be with you.
